Re: Take care of own first (Letters, March 2).
Last month I was admitted to Ridge Meadows Hospital with five broken ribs and a hole in one lung.
I was seen in the emergency ward by a doctor shortly after I was admitted. Treatment followed. I was held for the night and transferred to a ward the next day.
During the week that I was there, I have nothing but praise for the nursing and the physiotherapy staff. They may have been short of staff, but never mentioned it and were always there for me.
I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and all the care workers involved.
