As the winter days are approaching, hopefully you will have had the opportunity to stock up on good winter foods from this area.
Grand Forks has always been known for good, clean, healthy food, which supports the local economy. Remember that when you buy products from foreign markets there can never be the same guarantee of direct quality assurance as when you access them locally.
Although active farming is coming to a close in this season, some farms still have root crops, such as beets and carrots in the ground, waiting for customers and good garlic to spice up your winter dishes and add health and vigor to your life and the local economy.
Cheap is not necessarily the road to excellence.
