Nursery rhyme goes over reader’s head

Re: Letter writer simply shows off wordiness, March 22

To the Editor,

Isn’t Jim Corder’s letter (Letter writer simply shows off wordiness, March 22) a rather sad bit of testimony on the state of the ‘herd’ he runs with?

A ‘nursery rhyme’ goes over the head.

But not to worry because, even so, a wee bit of the Mock Turtle’s Arithmetic directed toward the messenger goes a long way when it comes to protecting the economy from too intent a gaze. Yes? No?

As how better than with a little bit of misdirection to miss noticing that the economy is simply about the dirtying of place settings?

Hence the happy oblivion needed to relish the idea of an invite to the Red Queen’s dinner party.

So, what to conclude about the intellectually challenged ‘herd’ Corder professes to run with?

Nothing more than what he, himself, has offered up. In simple terms: Homo sapiens sapiens, my arse!
