Obey the courts

Resident wants provincial government to restore education funding

The provincial government with a straight face claims they can’t restore learning conditions in public schools  because they don’t have the money.

They don’t have the money because, 12 years ago, at the same time they passed the illegal bill, they decreased government revenues by lowering corporate, income and inheritance taxes.

This is not rocket science.  Restore the taxes.  Obey the courts.  Recreate proper learning conditions in our schools.

Incidentally, I wonder if this year’s graduating students are going to start a class action suit against the provincial government for illegally depriving them for their entire school career of the quality education they were entitled to.
