Re: Occupy is about more than camping out, Letters, Nov. 23.

I read the letter and it asked us “to look hard and consider what these people are really wanting,” so I did and, true, it is about more than camping. It’s really about getting rid of Capitalism and bringing in Socialism. It’s about the collective, not the individual. Granted, Capitalism has its flaws (bankers getting bonuses even though they bought into toxic mortgages is not right) but there’s never been a better system found and it’s not for the lack of trying. Millions have died throughout history in the endeavour to create the perfect system. Someone once said, “Show me your friends and I will show you your future.” Well, I looked into the long list of those who have stepped forward to say they are friends of the Occupy Movement, and it doesn’t look like the kind of friends that the majority of us would want to hang out with. Communists, Nazis, the leader of Iran and a long list of far left socialist leaning organizations.
