I would like to comment about the “Held hostage on the phone” letter, The Leader, Nov. 5.
The other day I got put on hold for four hours. I had a headset on, so I laid on the couch.
Letter writer Jane Stevens commented that the companies say your call is important to them. I had no TV for that time, so I feel that I should get some type of a discount on my bill. They say no.
I am very angry with being held hostage as well. It is like they don’t think we have better things to do than waiting four hours.
