One vote for sure to extinguish HST

Editor, The News:

Re: Pitt Meadows takes down anti-HST signs (The News, June 15).

Take note folks, we have to get federal permission to change our tax. So much for our provincial tax, the feds have to give approval.

The piece below was taken from The News article about Vote YES to extinguish the HST signs were banned in Pitt Meadows:

“Premier Christy Clark’s office announced Friday that the federal government has amended its regulations, allowing B.C. to reduce the HST to 10 per cent by July 2014.”

Now I am sure of one reason why I am voting yes to extinguish the HST.
