Parking fees frustrating

The doctor was so overbooked I needed to go put more money in – first hour was just waiting and paying.

I would like to comment on Bob Baro’s letter regarding hospital parking rates (The Leader, March 16).

I went to the doctor and paid for parking for one hour. The doctor was so overbooked I needed to go put more money in so I could have the appointment, so the first hour was waiting. I was not happy, neither were a lot of other patients that had to do the same thing.

Like Mr. Baro said, when you are on a fixed income, how are you supposed to live? Next it is going to be pay parking while you shop at a mall.

I would also like to say about the tolling of all bridges, I live in Bridgeview and the traffic is a nightmare down here as the Pattullo Bridge is free, diverting people not wanting to pay the Port Mann toll. A lot of heavy trucks come through as well.
