Congratulations to the Trail Legion for getting the repairs completed after the fire!
Story here: Fire at the Trail Legion
We are intending on being one of your first customers for the hall, as we deliberately postponed our Burn’s Night celebration in January to take advantage of your great facility on International Tartan Day, April 6th.
For those of you who missed your haggis dinner this January, all is not lost. The Trail Pipe Band will be hosting the traditional dinner in the hall, and welcoming any and all who wish to support the band, and the Legion with a celebration of great food, great entertainment, and a dance til 1am with PartyPartyDJ services.
Tickets are available at the Legion up until April 3! We would hope the whole community will celebrate that day, wearing a wee bit of tartan to acknowledge the contribution of the clans to Canada’s story.
A mere 10 days later on Tuesday, April 16th, your Pipe Band and the Kootenay Kiltie Pipe Band from Nelson are at the Bailey in Trail with a concert celebrating our 95th anniversary; and the Kilties celebrating their 100th – – all with fiddles, singing, dancers, and the rest of us playing pipes and drums. Tickets will be available at the Bailey box office!
