Plan not online

I have checked the City of Vernon website under the following headings. 1. Roads and Streets and 2. Capital Works Projects.

I have checked the City of Vernon website under the following headings. 1. Roads and Streets  and  2. Capital Works Projects.

There are 23 projects listed. No mention of the ‘Hot topic of the day,” which is 43rd Avenue between 27th and  32nd streets.

Why is it not listed on the website?

Many registered voters, of which I am one, deserve an objective disclosure, explaining the overall benefits to the City of Vernon, accompanied by cost estimates, and a detailed site plan.

It is reasonable that public transit, car pooling, walking and cycling are important segments of our mode of travel.

It is also reasonable, and, important, to recognize that cars and trucks are the major mode of transit to move people, goods and services in an efficient manner.
