Recently, when I climbed into my car I noticed a slip of paper on the seat. “Lock it or Lose it,” it read in bold print.
It turns out I had left my car, parked on the street, with the doors unlocked. And local police, on foot, had dropped off the note and locked my car. I didn’t even know that foot patrol existed in our neighborhood. This was a great reminder. It’s an amazing service and one more reason to be grateful we live where we do.
