I agree with Dr. H. Spencer, Aldergrove (“The Easy Way Out,” Thursday, April 14, The Star). No one woke up one morning to find out that the pool didn’t meet the ‘changed rules’, and it wasn’t the people of the community that changed the rules. The people that made that decision knew long ago that this pool was slowing breaking down and was in much need of repair or replacement, and did nothing about it. Why? Because there was something of much more concern, that would make more money, elsewhere. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Aldergrove is the poor cousin in Langley when it comes to having things done.
