The cartoon that you ran of Jack Layton/NDP was totally out of line. Regardless of anyone’s political affiliation, it is completely unacceptable to portray a victim of a dreadful situation, in this case, a fight for his life against cancer, in such a thoughtless and demeaning manner. Shame on your editorial staff for allowing such an item to go to print.
