Recently, a friend in Ottawa sent me a parcel. When it arrived in Vernon, the label with my address was missing.
The return address label was on the parcel. My friend was very surprised and impressed when she got a phone call from the post office in Vernon, asking to whom the parcel should be delivered.
My friend, Sharon, and I are grateful to Luba at the post office for taking the time and trouble to do the detective work necessary to get the parcel to me.
I want to add that I have always been impressed with the service I receive at the post office.
The staff there are very helpful, and more than once have saved me dollars by suggesting alternative mailing options.
