Power shift

It's nice to see our local MLAs are ready to accept a change from government to opposition.

Eric Foster feels that the new government needs to bring in neutral legislation. Perhaps Mr. Foster can explain what that means.

Would it include measures from the throne speech, adopted almost entirely by the Liberals from the NDP platform in a desperate attempt to retain power? Is that neutral enough?

And, as a “strong free-enterpriser” (there are weak ones?), I’m surprised that Greg Kyllo voted for that same throne speech. What is it, Greg, free-enterpriser or NDP supporter?

The lieutenant governor’s decision to ask Mr. Horgan to form the government probably saved the Liberals from self-destruction.

They might want to decide what their core values really are – at the moment, they appear to have only one: stay in power at all costs.
