Letter writer questions MP's praise of government spending in another riding

It startles to read our local MP report singing the praises of the Skeena riding and their town of Prince Rupert. Those people elected, and are served by, NDP MP Nathan Cullen. Our MP, Colin Mayes, obviously approves of the way Cullen is serving the voters in Skeena, pointing out that government has invested $60 million there. Since Mr. Mayes actually represents Okanagan-Shuswap, why doesn’t his column tell us about an equivalent amount of money which Mr. Mayes brought into our own riding? Perhaps because it hasn’t happened?
