Quick provincial election not in NDP’s interest

I’m underwhelmed about facing another election: Sure, the B.C. Liberals could have made one or two better choices, but they have, for the most part, done a good job.

Given the many NDP controversies — past and present — as a longtime New Democrat I am not in a hurry to see the party I have supported for 40-plus years of elections being spanked at the polls.

Like reducing exposure to radiation with time, distance and shielding, we need those elements for the scandals and alliance with former premier Bill Vander Zalm to dissipate.

The promoted crisis must be more about our economic prosperity than the spun moral and ethical one. The federal election is teaching us that.
