Quilting support

On behalf of the Oceanside quilting group of Victoria’s Quilts Canada, we would like to thank some people who have generously donated to the group so that we can continue to make quilts for people in this area suffering from cancer and dealing with treatment.

Some have donated money, others fabric and batting to enable us to continue comforting people in the area and letting them know the whole community cares.

Maria, owner of The Window Dresser, has supplied us with many backings. The Parksville Legion gave us a sizable donation so that we could go and buy lovely flannel and cotton fabric.

Susanne Ebsworthy from Northcott Fabrics in Toronto sent a large donation of cottons and flannel and a sorority chapter of Parksville-Qualicum called Perceptor Delta-Zeta gave us a monetary donation.

Thanks to the support of this community and the volunteer quilters, we will be able to continue making quilts and comforting people in need.
