Hopefully, this will be an informative response to a letter to the editor called “Good Radiation,” written by J.K. and R.W. Sherrard.
It is important that individuals research information in the field specifically related to electric magnetic fields — information presented by scientists and professionals in that field.
Canada’s top professional in this area is Dr. Magda Havas from Trent University; she has presented aspects of her studies on the local television news stations.
I have corresponded with Dr. Havas relating to EMF sensitivity. Another professional who can provide current information is Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt who studies the affects of EMF and talks about the negative affects of smart meters.
Electric magnetic fields affect everyone, but the affects differ amongst individuals, and most are not aware that they are, in fact, affected at all.
Effects could be as seemingly insignificant as an earache, a rash, an inability to sleep, a feeling of lethargy — things that can be “explained away.”
More serious affects can include migraine headaches, numbness and tingling in a limb, memory loss, loss of balance, tumors, and more.
Just because EMF cannot be seen or you do not experience obvious symptoms, does not mean that you are not affected. Be educated and be healthy.
