Random act of kindness committed by two young ladies

Our hats are off today (Oct. 26) to the two young ladies who rescued the lost brown labrador who was wandering on and off the road this morning on Dogwood St. during the busiest of traffic times.

They displayed caring, courage and common sense during what could have ended in tragedy for this lost pet. And they have definitely defined the term “random acts of kindness.”

We also thank all the drivers who slowed down, as well as others who helped during this time. You are heroes today girls. Thank you so much. We can all take a lesson from you.
