Seems the good ol’ boys are at it again, asking for another chance, begging the city to yet again take a gamble on more slots.
I recall former councillor Bruce Beck being quite proud of himself that he could find 1.9 million results for ‘online slots’ on Google.
I guess business is good, because I see over 38 million results now.
But I ask you this. Shouldn’t we also open up a red light district in Abbotsford? Because there’s 101 million results for ‘online sluts’ on Google.ca when I checked tonight.
What was supposed to be 50 slot machines now has to be 300, and with booze. Because the times and the city, they are a changin’.
We shouldn’t restrict people’s ability to part with their money, no matter what their vice is.
I was thinking that at least three blocks would do.
