It is wonderful that you are talking about this amazing school – Kensington Prairie Elementary – but there was a lot more then just one person that was at the helm of this heritage project.
And it was more than just a fresh coat of paint.
There was a lot of seismic upgrading to all the buildings. The heritage building had all the asbestos removed and the floor leveled off; all the new electrical and plumbing.
The building was not what a lot of people were expecting.
This building would not be as successful without the great management and great organization from the general contractor and great subtrades.
I am not blaming the paper, but they should know who was involved and what went on before they publish a story like this.
