Resident speaks out against Fourth Street playground zone

As I live out by RMR, I usually drive by both newly designated playgrounds nearly every day.

Editor,

As I live out by RMR, I usually drive by both newly designated playgrounds nearly every day.

I have yet to see anyone in the playground.

I take my camera with me because seeing anyone in the playground would be a rare sighting, like seeing an alligator in the Illecillewaet.

Safety first but there should be a reason for caution. Let the traffic flow.

There is no playground equipment in the road area so no reason for kids to be there.

To me, a more dangerous place is in the area of the post office, with some people crossing back and forth, even jaywalking.

Not me, of course.
