I was recently in the Williams Lake hospital Oct. 5 and 6 and was so grateful for the care I received.
From the minute I entered at the admitting desk until discharge I only met wonderful caring staff.
The day care nurse was welcoming and efficient.
The operating room staff and doctors made you feel confident and safe. The care on the surgical ward was truly amazing.
I was even offered a warm blanket at bedtime to make sure I was comfortable.
Williams Lake should be very proud to have a hospital that offers that level of care. Thank you to all the staff who made my stay so comforting.
Sincerely,
Linda Armstrong

On Oct. 10, in the early evening, I crashed my Astro van near the town of Little Fort due to a medical problem that caused me to faint while driving.
I would like to thank the Good Samaritans who stopped to help me and called for help.
I would have never made it out alive if it wasn’t for their bravery and courage.
I would also like to thank the search and rescue team who managed to get me out of the van safely and quickly.
Special thanks to the paramedics who transported me to the hospital in Kamloops.
Upon arrival at Royal Inland Hospital, I was given the best of care by the staff there.
I thank you for that.
I would also like to thank Dr. Rollheiser and his team of doctors and nurses who got me going and back on my feet so quickly.
Heart-felt thanks to all of the individuals who helped me.
