• A police car full of rotten tomatoes to Mayor Doug McCallum for increasing property taxes unreasonably.

• Rotten tomatoes to Mayor do-as-I-say, not-as-I- do McCallum who asked Councillor Linda Annis to apologize but doesn’t apologize to her when he accuses her of voicing “fraud.” He had to be corrected by Allison Patton, who told him Annis actually said “flawed,” not fraud.

• Rotten tomatoes to the older guy in our block who just moved in with a Corvette. Not sure what you are trying to prove but the whole two blocks around you doesn’t need to hear you revving your car so high every time you get in or race by.

• Lovely red roses to Dianne Watts. You were one of the best mayors Surrey has ever had. You were professional, smart and engaging. If only you considered running for another term. We miss you.

• Rotten tomatoes to Mayor McCallum. It should always be acknowledged when wrongs are committed and people should continue to voice their opinions. Whether it be my 52 per cent property tax increase, trees removed at breakneck speed, rapid action without consultation or the unknown costs or time frame of a Surrey police force. Too many unknowns and people with very short memories. We need to keep this front and centre, especially when voting in the next election. The damage will be done. And who pays for that?

• Rotten tomatoes to our mayor. He doesn’t listen to or involve taxpayers or residents. Maybe posting here will make him see how off base he is with his residents.
