RV parking bylaw supported

There is no need to park RVs in driveways on a year-round basis.

Editor: I appreciate that the RV parking bylaw permits owners to park their RVs during the summer months to provide easy access, but I don’t want to see RVs parked throughout the year in my neighbours’ driveways.

They block the view up and down the street and in my opinion, look unsightly.  Having these sightlines enables me to see what is going on in my neighbourhood and helps me see if there are people or vehicles that don’t belong here, keeping us safer.

When I purchased my house, I looked for a lot that would accommodate an RV in the side yard so that I wouldn’t be the cause of what I consider an unsightly blight of house after house with RVs in the driveway.
