Save our water

A person might not even think that the food they eat may have been grown in a way that wastes water.

I am a Grade 8 student at A.S.I.A. school and I have a project about water consumption.  With The Run for Water coming up, it seemed appropriate to write to you.  A person might not even think that the food they eat may have been grown in a way that wastes water.  My project is on hydroponics, which is a process of growing plants without any soil. Hydroponics uses 70 to 90 percent less water than growing in soil. The water can be recycled making this a green solution.

My teachers are teaching us about taking care of the environment and kids our age need to teach everybody else.  I am only one person, but I wanted to tell as many people as I can about saving water when you grow things. It is time to save our water and have most things grown hydroponically.
