I am in disbelief, as I am sure are many others, that $10 million has been taken out of a North Okanagan-Shuswap School District account earmarked to educate children to pay for luxury offices for a bunch of pen-pushers.
Then the school district managers say they have to cut back on the kids’ education because they have no money. It is unbelievable that such a situation could occur.
Apparently the Jackson school property in Salmon Arm hasn’t been sold yet.
When that happens, the proceeds will probably go into the capital account. This is mind boggling.
It should and must go to educate kids to make up for the money that was taken from the kids’ education account.
It would appear that the bureaucrats, the pen pushers, are in charge, not the school board.
