To the Editor,
I don’t know what to say except ‘Thank you.’
On Sunday I received a phone call from a lady who said she has a parcel for me, and asked if I was going to be home to receive it. I said yes. In a few moments two beautiful young ladies showed up with a large box of food, snacks and gifts.
I didn’t know what to say because I wasn’t expecting this.
Of course, I said thank you and asked why I got this box. I was told someone entered my name, and community services gave it to me.
Thank you very much, Port Alberni. You are the community with heart.
