Sixth annual Arts, Health and Wellness Expo Feb. 4

The purpose of the Expo is to provide and create community health and wellness partnerships, as well as lifestyle choices and awareness

Editor, The Times:

Hello, North Thompson Valley residents. It’s that time of year again as we go into the sixth annual Arts, Health and Wellness Expo. Wow, six years and going strong. Mark your calendars, save the date – Saturday, Feb. 4, at Clearwater Secondary School, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

This will be a great opportunity for the community to stop by and check out all the services from the area. Plus you could win one of the fantastic door prizes, just for stopping by. Admission will be by donation.

The purpose of the Expo is to provide and create community health and wellness partnerships, as well as lifestyle choices and awareness for our community members of all ages.

The Expo will showcase all the services and service providers, small home based business, and local community organizations. There will be information booths, and a place to share information and network with others.

If you are a non-profit group and wish to get your organization’s name out there, boost your membership, and hand out information about your group, club or society – this might be just the chance you have been waiting for. We are all about community participation and involvement.

Clearwater Festival and Events Society (CFES) volunteers work very hard all year long to organize, coordinate, and fundraise so that we can have community events such as the Expo, children’s events, spirit birthday calendars, and more. We CFES volunteers do all these community events on our own time, gas, gifts, etc. (usually out of our own pocket) to make the North Thompson Valley the best place to live.

Everyone will be welcome! Please come out and support all the individual services and local home base businesses.

Deadline for registration is Jan. 31. You can pick up your info package and registration from the North Thompson Aboriginal Sharing Centre or the Community Resource Centre, Drop off completed registration along with your payment at the same locations or mail it to: CFES (Clearwater Festival and Events Society) at 560 Wyndhaven Drive, Clearwater BC V0E1N01. For more info email: cfesevents@yahoo.ca

Looking forward to another exciting Expo.
