I was wondering if it would be possible to put out a warning to people that they need to slow down and be careful when they are driving on Union Bar Road along the marsh.
Last Thursday, a goose was hit and by Friday it was dead in the water. There are also approximately seven new babies down there that like to hang out along the road to feed. It would be terrible for more of them to get hit.
I have seen numerous drivers speeding along that road, which makes it dangerous for others who are walking down there especially with their children watching the turtles, frogs, and ducks.
I have noticed that there are no signs telling people to slow down and that there is wildlife around.
