Editor: Isn’t it just amazing how BC Hydro is ramming these smart meters down our throats, whether we want them or not. It would appear from my dialogue with them that we don’t have any choice. Whatever happened to free choice and our so-called democracy?
I’d really like to know how much all this is going to cost us in the end. Look at all the TV advertising they are doing and the $1 billion for the initial installation costs across B.C.
Then there are all the meter readers that will lose their jobs. More poor people on the unemployment list.
I am also worried about the possible health risks, as well as the invasion of one’s privacy and the high price of our Hydro bills when this is all said and done.
I for one am still going to fight this, but I don’t think I’ll have a prayer against the big boys.
