I do not know how Stephen Harper or any of his gang had the gall to show up at Rememberance Day celebrations after the shoddy treatment his government has given veterans of the Afghanistan invasion.
I remember when he said, “it’s not us to cut and run,” but that’s exactly he’s done by giving a one time payout to those whose lives have been compromised by physical and psychological trauma as a result of that debacle.
You’re part of that government Mr. Mayes. How can you hold your head up?
