I have been to Spallumcheen council five times re: Otter Lake Cross Road. I got action at the first two meetings, but no action since. People on the road have phoned the RCMP. One day one showed up and went down the road and left. I volunteered for rural crime watch in the Caribou for eight years and it was a well-run operation.
I volunteered for Speed Watch and spent half an hour on Otter Lake Cross Road and one-and-a-half hours on Otter Lake Road in two months. What good is that? I think it is a waste of time.
We had two motorcycles, one at 135 kilometres and one at 115 kilometres in a 50-kilometre-an-hour zone.
