As a member of the Chilliwack Secondary School Envirothon Team, representing the Province of B.C. this year and last, and on behalf of our team, Connor Ford, Zach Greenwood, Celeste Newbury, Andrea Bernard, I want to send a BIG thank-you to this wonderful community who supported us in our efforts to go to New Brunswick and compete internationally.  The experience was amazing, getting to meet new people and compete against 53 other teams from all over the United States and Canada.

Our team would not have been able to go without the generous support provided by this community.  The individual efforts of many people in various organizations made on our behalf need to be acknowledged.  We would like you all to know it means a lot to us and the experience will not be forgotten.

Thanks go to: Mount Cheam Rotary, Optimist Club, Anavets Ladies Auxillary, Pacific Salmon Foundations, BC Waterfowl Society, Chilliwack Elks Club, and Maxxam Inc.

We are proud to let you know that our team came in first in the oral presentations and  21st overall in the competition.  Our hope is to try again next year and make the top ten.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge Ms. Connie Williams, our teacher, advisor, and supporter, for all the time she has committed to the cause.  Thanks again!
