I was delighted to see the photo of Mr. Albetar presenting his exquisite plaque to City Council.
Is this the kind of work Mr. Albetar does?
It is wonderful that we are opening our little town to Syrian refugees and offering them accommodation and food.
However, how much better would it be to offer work and a chance to truly be part of the community?
I would love to know Mr. and Mrs. Albetar’s professions in Syria. There might be a perfect niche for them to fill in the Summerland business community that no one is really aware of.
