Re: New mall ‘exciting’ (Letters, Aug. 21)
Brad Nay of Maple Ridge writes, “Nothing new here,” in regard to the planned Mall in Pitt Meadows. What’s new is all the business revenue and tax base that this mall will add to Pitt Meadow’s coffers. Unlike Maple Ridge with it’s dismal shopping, Pitt Meadows property owners will receive aid while Maple Ridge owners will see their taxes get out of control.
