Editor: It is an impressive commitment by a group of voters expressing their concerns about recent events in the Township that should be of interest to all residents. I agree with three points. The exception is “unfair tax grab.”
The logic and mathematics do not add up. An increase in value of $33,000, costing $100 more per year in taxes, is nothing to the increase in resale. I have looked at my assessment with happiness, as I am involved in a discussion with the Department of Highways regarding the inevitable widening or twinning of 264 Street and property expropriation.
