Oyama branch 189 of the Royal Canadian Legion would like to thank everyone who supported the Legion Day celebration.
The Lake Country Calendar and The Morning Star are on top of the list for the great ads and coming events listings, and the Oyama Volunteer Fire Department for bringing its big new fire truck and “burning” more than 100 delicious hamburgers.
The Dragoons who brought out their G-wagon for display, the Girl Guides, Child ID, Speed Watch, Citizens on Patrol and the Oyama Sunblush Bakery. There was the Out In Left Field band, veterans Lorne Pittman and Vern Webb, with Eva Windsor, with military displays, and all of the people who came. Thank you everyone.
