Recently my daughter, Alivea, and I went to Waddy’s local restaurant for a visit with old friends. We had a nice chat and caught up on old times.
We were in the parking lot saying our “goodbyes” when a sweet lady came up to me with a pink gift bag and said she had a present for my daughter who she saw in Waddy’s. I opened the bag to find a hand knitted purple blanket (that matched her purple pants that day) that this lovely lady had made.
She had never seen my daughter before but thought she was beautiful and she could one day use this blanket for her dollies. She quickly ran home to get it before we left the restaurant just so Alivea could have this special blanket. That is truly the sweetest thing any stranger has done for myself and my daughter. I wanted to write this letter thanking her personally for the wonderful gift.
