On August 6 and 7 Wagner Hills Farm will be celebrating our 30th year of ministry. Since 1981, people have been experiencing new life and freedom from harmful addictions in this healing Christian community. Over 3,000 men and women have lived at Wagner Hills Farm and the House of Hope (our women’s ministry) in Langley throughout the years, and we are inviting many of these to return to Wagner Hills on August 6 and 7 for a celebration. We want to renew relationships and give thanks for the new life we have all received.

Addictions to alcohol, marijuana, heroin, methadone, cocaine, prescription drugs, pornography, gambling, overeating, sexual perversion, etc., have all been used by the devil to trap people. Our choices and the lies we have believed have been deadly in many cases. But for those who have broken free, we are here today to say thank you to God for the gift of our lives. We want to demonstrate to others who are still struggling that freedom, hope, love, forgiveness and purpose in life are all possible and available to anyone who will ask for help.

Thank you to the community of Langley, our neighbours, local pastors and churches, political leaders, police and health services, volunteers and donors who have contributed to the positive changes God has worked in the people who have come through the program at Wagner Hills Farm and the House of Hope.

My wife Linda, my family and I have been greatly blessed by the people of Langley over these past 30 years. I look forward to continuing to serve with Wagner Hills and to the years to come. We expect to see many more changed lives that will in turn give back to Langley and Canada. We are blessed by God in order to be a blessing to others.
