Thanks to those who paid for teens’ birthday dinner

I am writing this letter to thank these people who we couldn’t thank at the time.

Dear Editor:

A couple of weeks ago, four of my friends and I went out to Zias Stone house Restaurant.

As usual the food was amazing and the service was excellent.

Now, we were out celebrating my friend’s 17th birthday which usually makes people assume that five 17-year-olds are going to be loud and most likely disrespectful of the peaceful environment Zias offers.

However, when it came time for us to sing happy birthday to my friend the couple sitting next to us joined in then they continued on with their dinner and we started our complimentary dessert.

None of us thought much about it, we just thought it was very nice of them to join in.

After they left, the five of us were still chatting and finishing dessert when our server came over and informed us that the couple who barely interacted with us paid for our entire dinner because they thought we looked like nice girls.

There are no words to explain how great that made us feel.

We couldn’t stop smiling and talking about it.

I am writing this letter to thank these people who we couldn’t thank at the time and also to remind everyone in Summerland that there are good people in this world.

After we had this dinner, our faith in humanity was reinforced.
