The interest of the public in mind

I have just read the News’ article interviewing Henry Braun.

I have just read the News’ article interviewing Henry Braun.

After reading Mr. Braun’s comments it is very clear to me that this is a man who has the fiscal mind to be a very effective government official. He thinks differently from the current politicians who use the taxpayers’ money to build up their own image and profile and have very little regard for spending someone else’s money. Mr. Braun’s comments show he  really  cares about the community and is not afraid to admit when he is wrong (i.e. water controversy). It is refreshing to see someone of his stature on council.

It is unfortunate that he does not want to run for the office of Premier of BC. We could use someone who speaks their mind and has the interest of the public in mind and is not a political hound dog.
