The public deserves answers on rail line

Are the “owners” of the Island rail forgetting the public? To me, it would seem that way.

Are the “owners” of the Island rail forgetting the public? To me, it would seem that way. I have waited for some time for a construction plus cost list.

From what I note, there isn’t one. The whole line has to be excavated then re-laid as the No. 1 item; at what cost and at what timeline to completion ready for the cars?

Next is the means of locomotion. What engine, that powers the unit at least to over 50 km/h? Definitely not a Montreal bud car.

Proposed schedules? There is far too much secrecy. Surely the public would appreciate honest answers if they were forthcoming. It would also give the public a chance to compare travel cost: highway or railway. I note also that the terminus has been move into Esquimalt away from the preferred location in town. What a brilliant stroke of genius.

Whoever thought up that gem ought to join the government think tank, (no swimming allowed).
