What I don’t understand is that we have homeless people and yet we have thousands of refugees coming in and the government has housing for them paid for by the taxpayers. On top of that we pay for their medical, education and their cost of living and some of them are still complaining that they are not getting enough, and than there are people that can’t afford housing because they have to work for minimum wages.

Then there are people, special young people and seniors who can barely afford to stay in their own home because of the high taxes, and our CVRD want to start charging them more taxes so they can build affordable housing, or is it to create an other level of bureaucracy so they can pay them their six figure salary. Then there is the water issue, which the CVRD wants to take over from the federal, provincial government and the Crofton mill and those three are just waiting for the CVRD to take responsibility for that, another level of bureaucracy.

When you go and vote you better think twice before you vote yes. When those bylaws are passed they can charge you whatever they feel like.

If it is anything like the economic development committee that was to create jobs, the only jobs they created were there own jobs.
