Time for tax and spend policies to end

Voters in the Township are fed up with the tax and spend policies, which we have had since the days of John Scholtens ended.

Editor: If mayoral candidate Jack Froese does not like bloc politics (The Times, Aug. 4),then he should condemn the actions of the group of six who have been attempting to undermine Mayor Rick Green since his election.

The fact is, the voters in the Township are fed up with the tax and spend policies, which we have had since the days of John Scholtens ended.

We have unionized firemen and firehalls in areas of the Township without water.

There are golf course purchases, overpass construction on unused roads, huge stipends for councillors and a growing Township bureaucracy. All of these are pushing Township taxpayers to the limit.

If Green and his slate will reduce taxes then, hopefully with the exception of incumbents Mel Kositsky and Kim Richter,we will have a new council.  Jack can go back to rasing turkeys.
