Time to fence Hwy. 18 for the elk
I believe we are ready to take a page out of Banff, Alberta’s book and fence Highway 18 and install an overpass for animals, if for no other reason than safety.
Traffic and animal population are increasing.
I believe that this is a “no brainer” solution to the increasingly dangerous interaction between vehicles and animals.
