Unless I misunderstand, it is disappointing to read that completion of the top two floors of Vernon’s hospital will add only 14 beds and, even more disappointing, that the majority of the 60 beds on those two floors will be private rooms.
Unless private rooms are required for medical reasons, surely in this era of exploding health care costs, the private hospital room should be a thing of the past.
