I wonder how many others, like myself, wish they could have been at Remembrance Day services. I depend on the transit system. Not one bus left the terminal by 10:55 a.m. Why can the buses run until 2 a.m. for Funtastic (a good thing) but cannot start an hour earlier on Nov. 11?
Our seniors and their families deserve better. The date and moment of silence have not changed. City council and Vernon transit need to get together and realize who needs the bus service and why. Lest we forget.
