Tronson Road

Vernon Kids of Steel Triathlon official describes process for route

Regarding Tronson tribulations May 15, the recent notification you received regarding a road closure on Tronson Road on the morning of June 25 was for the Kids of Steel Triathlon.

For this event, it was suggested that you use the east exit of Scott Road on to Tronson.

This described access will not be affected by any closures.  Scott Road, east of Palmer, will exit on to Tronson and on to Okanagan Landing Road.

For the time of the closure, we appreciate you choosing an alternate route, and have done our best to contact, in person, those most affected.

We received a fantastic amount of support from residents in the area, and are pleased to be able to proceed with the event.

We look forward to hosting a safe, fun activity for kids of all abilities, and appreciate your co-operation.

If you have any other questions or would like clarification, please feel free to contact me directly at lauramedcalf@yahoo.ca.

Complete road closure information is currently being drafting and available to view at www.vernonkos.ca.
